DEATH AND OTHER BELONGINGS

 

Death and Other Belongings, originally started as a different project. This was to be a body of work of Greens home city of Bath looking at it from a view that others do not usually see. 

 

Although the project was tentatively underway this quickly transmuted to a much more inward and emotional story as the effects of the Covid pandemic started to rapidly take effect on the world and as for many, a personal journey at home. 

 

Over a period from early March 2020 Green caught Covid and lost both his parents to it with in days of each other. This was while   suffering from and recovering from long covid which stayed with him into early 2021. 

 

Death and Other Belongings is not so much a record of the external events, rather a narrative study of the emotions and anxiety that came with the circumstances and the realisation of our fragility and mortality.
